Description, male. Body length 5.69 mm. Head with green reflection; mesosoma with darkish green reflection and metapectal-propodeal disc black; wings sub-hyaline; metasoma castaneous. Head wide. Flagellomeres short, with dense and short setae. Mandible narrow, slightly angled, and with teeth equally wide. Median clypeal lobe angulate, short. Frons coriaceous . Antennal scrobe carinate, but weak. Eye large. Frontal angle of ocellar triangle acute; ocelli large. Vertex straight. Pronotal disc as long as wide, sparsely punctate; transverse pronotal carina complete; without posterior pronotal sulcus. Notaulus wide. Mesoscutellar sulcus wide. Metapectal-propodeal disc short; metapostnotal median carina complete; longitudinal ridges present; metapostnotal-propodeal suture convergent to first metapostnotal carina; paraspiracular carina present and conspicuous; metapleural carina present and conspicuous; metapectal-propodeal disc with short striae; propodeal declivity strigate. Mesopleuron with anterior fovea closed; mesopleural fovea closed; lower fovea closed; posterior fovea absent; mesopleural suture closed. Forewing with stigma developed; Rs&M vein distinguished. Mesotibia not spinose. Claws trifid. Metasomal segments sparsely setose. Genitalia. Basiparamere shorter than paramere; paramere wide and fusiform, sparsely setose; basivolsella with apical excavation at inner margin; cuspis with arms short, dorsal arm wide; aedeagus with basal portion convex and slender, and apical portion as long as basal and very slender; apodeme slender.

Distribution. Brazil: Amazonas, Maranhão.
Remarks. This new species differs from A. similis by having the clypeus short; the vertex almost straight; the notaulus wide; the mesopleuron with the lower fovea not divided; the genitalia with basivolsella excavated at inner margin and with inner basal projection; the paramere longer than the basiparamere with its apex almost angulate; and the aedeagus with the apical portion slender and longer than the basal portion, whereas A. similis has the clypeus long; the vertex convex; the notaulus very narrow; the mesopleuron with the lower fovea divided; the basivolsella with the inner margin angled; the paramere shorter than the basiparamere with the apex rounded; and the aedeagus with the basal portion angled and slender, and apical portion as long as the basal portion.
