Description, male. Body length 3.23 mm. Head and mesosoma black; wings clear hyaline; metasoma dark castaneous. Head wide. Flagellomeres short, serrate and with sparse and short setae. Mandible very narrow and with teeth equally wide. Median clypeal lobe rounded, long, with median apical tooth; median clypeal carina higher than frons level. Frons coriaceous . Antennal scrobe ecarinate. Eye large. Frontal angle of ocellar triangle obtuse; ocelli large. Vertex convex. Pronotal disc shorter than wide, strongly coriaceous ; transverse pronotal carina complete; without posterior pronotal sulcus. Notaulus wide. Mesoscutellar sulcus narrow; posterior mesoscutellar sulcus present. Metapectal-propodeal disc short; metapostnotal median carina complete; longitudinal ridges absent; metapostnotal-propodeal suture fused with first metapostnotal carina; paraspiracular carina present and conspicuous; metapleural carina present and conspicuous; metapectal-propodeal disc with short striae; propodeal declivity strigate. Mesopleuron with anterior fovea closed; mesopleural fovea closed; lower fovea divided; posterior fovea absent; mesopleural suture closed. Forewing with stigma not developed; Rs&M vein distinguished. Mesotibia not spinose. Claws trifid. Metasomal segments glabrous. Genitalia. Basiparamere as long as paramere; paramere slender, angled, with ventral and dorsal margin straight, densely setose; basivolsella with apical excavation at inner margin.; cuspis with arms short, with basal projection at inner margin., dorsal arm wide; aedeagus with basal portion angled and wide, and apical portion as long as basal and swollen; apodeme slender.

Distribution. Brazil: Amazonas, Minas Gerais.

Remarks. This new species differs from A. nigripes Evans by having the clypeal carina higher than the frons [in profile]; the antennal flagellomeres serrate; the antennal scrobe ecarinate; the circumocular suture absent; the frontal angle of the ocellar triangle obtuse; and the mesopleuron with the anterior fovea longer than the posterior, whereas A. nigripes has the clypeal carina lower than the frons [in profile]; the antennal flagellomeres filiform; the antennal scrobe carina distinct and reaching the eye; the circumocular suture present; the frontal angle of the ocellar triangle acute; and the mesopleuron with the anterior fovea as long as the posterior.
