Remarks. This new species differs from A. analis ( Cresson, 1872) by having the wing bi-banded; the mandible with its distal teeth equally wide; the clypeus with its median lobe rounded, very short, and with the apical margin truncate; the antennal scrobe ecarinate; the ocellar triangle with anterior angle right, and with the ocelli very small; and the mesopleuron with the lower fovea closed and divided, whereas A. analis has the wing subhyaline; the mandible narrow, angled, with four distal teeth, and with the two upper teeth wider than the others; the clypeus median lobe rounded and short; the antennal scrobe carinate; the ocellar triangle with the anterior angle acute, and with ocelli small; and the mesopleuron with the lower fovea closed and not divided.
