Barsine anomala View in CoL species-group

Diagnosis. Externally, the species group is very similar to the B. fansipana species-group and is characterized by the broad forewing with elongated apex and pale red ground color, the longitudinal strip narrowed distally, presence of two short and thin additional strips subapically on veins R5 and M1, and the poorly developed sexual dimorphism. The male genitalia differ from other species-groups by the pimple-like, strongly setose medial costal process, the hardly setose sacculus, the short aedeagus, and the vesica consisting of several small, membranous, tubular diverticula with two small spine-like cornuti on the longest one. The female genitalia are characterized by the very narrow antevaginal plate, heavy spinulose scobination in the posterior section of corpus bursae, and presence of a large, rugose signum in the anterior section of corpus bursae.
