Barsine longstriga View in CoL species-group
Diagnosis. Externally, the species-group is characterized by the moderately broad forewings, dark brown cilia, broad hind wings and the poorly developed sexual dimorphism. In the male genitalia, it is characterized by the very broad costa, which is apically rounded and having a small, tooth-like subapical process directed dorsally, the small, claw-like medial costal process; the long distal saccular process well separated from the distal part of valva, and the vesica with numerous diverticula of different size and shape and one large diverticulum covered with small, short spine-like cornuti. In the female genitalia, the species group is characterized by the sack-like, moderately sclerotized corpus bursae without spines, signa or sclerotized plates.
