Barsine fansipana View in CoL species-group
Diagnosis. Externally, the species group has no differences from the B. anomala species-group, but the male genitalia have significant differences and are characterized by the reduced, tooth-like medial costal process, presence of the large, inflated, strongly setose transtillar process, the hardly setose distal saccular process, and the presence of a cluster of robust spine-like cornuti on the longest diverticulum of vesica; the female genitalia are very characteristic and differ from those of other species-groups by the large, heavily sclerotized antevaginal plate having rounded lateral lobes, deep rectangular medial concavity, and broad horseshoe-like anterior fold; the corpus bursae relatively small, with heavy spinulose scobination.
