15. Limonium astypaleanum group.―The few species of this group are characterized by having numerous, slender, rugose to verrucate stems. Their leaves are small, green and rugose. They have numerous sterile branches, and remotely arranged spikelets. The species belonging to this group are rare, with punctiform distributions. L. astypaleanum is found on Astypalaia, L. meandrinum on Karpathos, and L. kirikosicum on Ikaria.
