Distribution in Iran: South Khorasan (de Beaumont 1970).
General distribution: Algeria, Egypt, Iran, Kazakhstan, Palestine, Tajikistan, Libya, Morocco, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Turkmenistan, United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan, Western Sahara.
Remarks: The subspecies Cerceris straminea komarovii Radoszkowski, 1886 has been recorded from Iran (de Beaumont 1970).
