Distribution in Iran: Kerman ( Sakenin et al. 2010), Khuzestan (de Beaumont 1970). General distribution: Algeria, Chad, Cyprus, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Libya, Morocco, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates, Yemen.
Remarks: The subspecies Ammophila haimatosoma haimatosoma has been recorded from Iran ( Sakenin et al. 2010).
