Distribution in Iran: Sistan-o Baluchestan ( Gussakovskij 1933; Sakenin et al. 2010). General distribution: Algeria, Egypt, Iran, Israel, Libya, Morocco, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Turkey, Yemen.

Remarks: This species was first recorded as Stizus fuliginosus Handlirsch, 1892 by Gussakovskij (1933) from Bampur (Kerman province—Gussakovskij 1933), which is a part of Sistan-o Baluchestan province.
