Etymology. The specific name comes from the combination of Latin words ' faba ' (bean) and ' formis ' (shape), referring to the bean-shaped spermathecae of the female vulva; adjective.

Diagnosis. The new species resembles O. hippocampa Jin, Fu, Yin & Zhang, 2016 , but males can be distinguished by the RTA with a slightly widened subterminal part, and the DTA extending along the cymbium and with a modified extension, and females by the parenthesis-shaped connecting tubes and peanut-shaped spermathecae (compare Figs 6B View FIGURES 6 ̄E, 7B, 8ĀD, F with figs 1–3 in Jin et al. 2016).
