Distribution in Iran. Golestan (Ghahari and Fischer 2011b).

Distribution outside Iran. Croatia ( Griffiths 1967), Greece ( Yu et al. 2012), Turkey ( Çikman et al. 2009; Çikman and La Salle 2011; Çikman 2012), former Yugoslavia ( Griffiths 1968; Yu et al. 2012).

Host records. Liriomyza sp., Phytomyza ferulae Hering, 1927 , P. obscura Hendel, 1920 ( Diptera : Agromyzidae ) ( Yu et al. 2012). It has been reared from the larva of Liriomyza sp. in former Yugoslavia ( Diptera : Agromyzidae ) ( Griffiths 1968). Also recorded from Chromatomyia horticola ( Goureau, 1851) ( Diptera : Agromyzidae ) ( Çikman and La Salle 2011).
