Distribution in Iran. Isfahan (Ghahari et al. 2011c; Khajeh et al. 2014); Sistsan and Baluchestan ( Sedighi et al. 2014; Khajeh et al. 2014), East Iran (no locality cited) (Yari et al. 2014).

Distribution outside Iran. Widely though sporadically distributed in the Palaearctic region (Tobias 1998), and widely distributed in Europe ( Shenefelt 1974). Afghanistan, Austria, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Poland, Russia, Sweden, Ukraine and former Yugoslavia ( Yu et al. 2012), Croatia and Macedonia ( Papp 2009b; Yu et al. 2012), Greece ( Papp 2007a; Yu et al. 2012), Hungary ( Žikić et al. 2000; Papp 2004a, 2006; Yu et al. 2012), Korea ( Papp 2009a; Yu et al. 2012), Serbia ( Žikić et al. 2000; Yu et al. 2012), Spain ( Francés and Jiménez 1989a, Docavo et al. 1986, 1992; Yu et al. 2012), United Kingdom ( Morley 1924 as Dacnusa lar ; Broad et al. 2012; Yu et al. 2012).
