Distribution in Iran. East of Iran (no locality cited) (Yari et al. 2014).

Distribution outside Iran. Belgium, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Kazakhstan and Netherlands ( Yu et al 2012), Spain ( Docavo et al. 1986; Francé and Jiménez 1989a; Yu et al. 2012), Sweden ( Thomson 1895 as Dacnusa parvungula ; Yu et al 2012), United Kingdom ( Broad et al. 2012; Yu et al 2012), Ukraine ( Perepechayenko 2008; Yu et al 2012).

Host records. Napomyza cichorii Spencer, 1966 and N. lateralis (Fallen, 1823) ( Diptera : Agromyzidae ) ( Griffiths 1967; Francés and Jiménez 1989a; Yu et al. 2012).
