Distribution in Iran. Ilam ( Ghahari et al. 2011d; Khajeh et al. 2014).
Distribution outside Iran. Austria, Germany and Poland ( Shenefelt 1974; Papp 2004a; Yu et al. 2012), Greece ( Papp 2007a; Yu et al. 2012), Hungary ( Papp 2004a; Yu et al. 2012), Russia (Tobias 1998; Lelej 2012; Yu et al. 2012).
Host records. Phytomyza alpina Groschke, 1957 , P. marginella Fallen, 1823 , P. senesionis Kaltenbach, 1869 and P. tussilaginis Hendel, 1925 ( Diptera : Agromyzidae ) (Griffiths 1966, 1967; Lelej 2012; Yu et al. 2012).
