Diagnosis. Forewing length is 9–10 mm in males and 10–10.5 mm in females. Externally, B. amaculata is similar to B. fasciata and B. mesomene sp. n., and differs from B. fasciata by the absence of a discal spot of forewing; amaculata differs from B. mesomene sp. n. by its creamy white forewing coloration (that is pale yellowish in B. mesomene sp. n.), shorter dentation of postmedial line, and the absence of a postmedial transverse line on hindwing (that is more or less developed in B. mesomene sp. n.). The male genitalia of B. amaculata are similar to those of B. mesomene sp. n., but differ by the thinner, needle-like distal costal process, the longer distal section of valva, the longer distal saccular process, the smaller ventral diverticulum without granulation, and the absence of a medial row of cornuti in vesica. The female genitalia of B. amaculata differ from those of B. mesomene sp. n. by the broader antrum, the smaller corpus bursae and the shorter appendix bursae.

Distribution. Vietnam (Volynkin & Černý 2016).
