Material examined: 1♂ Inner Mongolia, Xinganmeng, Yiersi , 18 V 1982, lg. Ignotus ( CAU) .
Aradus angularis belongs to the “ lugubris ”-group of species and is related to A. laeviusculus Reuter 1875 , aterrimus Fieber 1864 , bimaculatus Reuter 1872 , and lugubris Fallen 1807 .
These species were treated, illustrated, and keyed by Heiss 2007b. A. angularis is a north-European – Siberian element and is so far recorded from the arboreal of Finland, Sweden, and northern Russia to Siberia and Mongolia.
