= Ulidia bicolor Macquart, 1835: 504 . Syntypes male and female (MNHN). France and Germany. Refs.: Loew, 1845: 28 (syn. as U. demandata ); Séguy, 1934: 84; Zaitzev, 1984: 60; attributed to Macquart, 1835: 504 (Macquart’s “ U. bicolore ” was used clearly as a vernacular French name of Ulidia demandata ; consequently mentioned “ U. bicolor Macquart ”, always as a synonym of demandata, is unavailable) ( Chen & Kameneva, 2007: 17; Kameneva & Korneyev, 2016: 13).

= Ulidia smaragdi Walker, 1849: 1059 . Type unknown (maybe in NHMUK).

Type material. destroyed ( Rozkošný et al., 1982; Thompson & Pont, 1993; El-Hawagry, 2017). Bohemia, Czech Republic.

Distribution. Worldwide (see comments), in the American continent: Argentina, Mexico, and USA. Chile. Región de Coquimbo: Limarí Province (Limarí); Región Metropolitana: Chacabuco Province (Lampa, Montenegro); Región de O’Higgins: Cardenal Caro Province (Marchigüe), Fig. 17 .
