Syntypes: ZMB 287, male, skull, skin; ZMB 288, female, adult and male, juvenile, skull, skin; ZMB 291, female, juvenile, skull, skin; surroundings of Para, Brazil; collected by Sieber, between 1800 and 1812 .
Comment: Another syntype ( IZH-M226 ) went to the Zoological collection in Museum Halle via the double sale by Lichtenstein, registered there in the entry book in 1818 .
