Current valid name: Piliocolobus lulindicus Matschie, 1914
Holotype: ZMB 32739 (= A 48,09,98), female, adult, skull, skin; “am Lulindi in der Nähe seiner Einmündung in den Lualaba unweit Kassongo” [at the Ulindi River on the estuary to Lualaba River near Kasongo; Democratic Republic of the Congo]; collected by Grauer, October 1908.
Comment: Matschie (1914) described this species using a single specimen, a female numbered A 48.09.98 (later = ZMB 32739). Another male ZMB 33199/33200 (skull, skin) has identical data of location, collector, and date, but cannot be classified as a paratype because it is not mentioned anywhere in the description.
