Current valid name: Colobus satanas anthracinus (LeConte, 1857)
Holotype: ZMB 24433/24434, male, adult, skull, skin; “Wurminsog” [could not be found], “Muni-Fluss, westlich Noya Fluss an der Grenze von Spanisch Guinea” [south of Muni River and west of Noya River], Gabon; collected by Escherich, 31 July 1913.
Paratypes: ZMB 24435/24436, male, adult, skull, skin; ZMB 24437/24438, female, adult, skull, skin; ZMB 24439, female, juvenile, skull; all specimens from “Wurminsog” [?], “Muni-Fluss, westlich Noya Fluss an der Grenze von Spanisch Guinea” [south of Muni River and west of Noya River], Gabon; collected by Escherich, 31 July 1913 .
