Current valid name: Piliocolobus rufomitratus ( Peters, 1879)
Holotype: ZMB 5545, male, skull; “Ortschaft Muniuni am Tana ” [north of Mitole , probably near Mnazini at Tana River], Kenya; collected by G.A. Fischer, 16 September 1878.
Comment: The present name of the mentioned village “Muniuni” at Tana-River could not be found.
