( Figures. 1-2 View FIGURE 1 View FIGURE 2 )
Type material. Holotype: female, P. R. China: Yunnan: Pingbian (Daweishan), 22°56’24.82” N, 103°41’52.81” E, 1320m, 12 August 2019, collected by Peng Cui ( EMHU) GoogleMaps . Paratypes: 2♀, same data, type locality ( EMHU) GoogleMaps .
Description. Female. Small in size, short. Body interspersed with coarse protuberances and concavities.
Head. Head and eyes exserted above pronotal surface. Vertex obviously concave, width of vertex between eyes 1.4 times width of compound eye; anterior margin of fastigium nearly truncate, not surpassing anterior margin of eye; median carina visible anteriorly; transverse carina of vertex directed upwards and elevated the same level of upper margin of compound eye. In lateral view, frontal ridge invisible between eyes, protruded anteriorly and broadly rounded between antennal grooves. In frontal view, vertex depressed and with U-shaped concavity; frontal costa bifurcated above lateral carinae, width of longitudinal furrow of frontal ridge distinctly narrower than antennal groove diameter. Antennae filiform, 15-segmented, the 10th and 11th segment are the longest, about 5-6 times longer than its width; antennal grooves inserted below inferior margin of compound eyes. Eyes globose, lateral (paired) ocelli located lowest third of compound eye height.
Thorax. Pronotum platy, in dorsal view, dorsum of pronotum with numerous irregular concavities and coarse tubercles and carinae. Arrangement of pronotal concavities: prozona with a concavity; before each humeral angle with a concavity; middle of shoulders with a concavity; behind each humeral angle with a large concavity, followed by three to four pairs of shallow concavities along both sides of median carina. Pronotum with a straight anterior margin, with a distinct obtuse projecting under each lateral carina of prozona; median carina invisible on prozona and entire behind prozona. In profile, upper margin of pronotum near the anterior margin concaved, arch-like before shoulders and straight behind shoulders; humeral angle obtuse; hind pronotal process narrow and short, reaching apex of hind femur and its apex narrowly rounded. Posterior angles of lateral lobes produced outwards, end of posterior angles truncate, posterior margins of lateral lobes of pronotum only with ventral sinus. Tegmina and hind wings absent.
Legs. Fore and middle femora compressed, margins finely serrated, upper margins slightly undulated, ventral margins each with one to two small projections and undulated; width of fore femora equal to the width of middle femora. Hind femora robust and short, three times as long as wide, margins finely serrated, with one to two tubercules on outside behind the middle; antegenicular denticles and genicular denticles acute. Outer side of hind tibia with 8-9 spines, inner side with 4-5 spines. The first segment of posterior tarsi and the third equal in length, three pulvilli of first segment of posterior tarsi are increased in turn, all apices obtuse.
Abdomen. Ovipositor narrow and long, length of upper valvulae 4.2 times its width, upper and lower valvulae with slender saw-like teeth. Length of subgenital plate longer than its width, middle of posterior margin of subgenital plate slightly triangular projecting.
Coloration. Body and antennae dark brown; dorsum of pronotum with a pair of black spots behind shoulders. Fore and middle femora and tibia dark brown and with two light rings. Hind femur dark brown, outer part with two light spots; inner side black, upper part with two light spots behind the middle. Hind tibia dark brown, with a light ring in the base.
Male. unknown.
Measurements (mm). Length of body: ♀ 10.0–11.0; length of pronotum: ♀ 8.5–9.0; length of hind femur: ♀ 5.8–6.5.
Etymology. The new species was named after the type locality, Yunnan, China; adjective.
Distribution. P. R. China: Yunnan.
