Recognition. Linogeraeus hospes is very distinctive in both sexes; the characters presented in the key separate this species readily from all others. Asymmetrically setose antennae also occur in Odontocorynus Schönherr and Platyonyx Schönherr.
Distribution. This species occurs throughout Mexico and Central America and reaches the southern United States in Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas ( Fig. 78 View Figs ).
Type locality. Tucson , Arizona .

Total 361 specimens .
