Taeniothrips major Bagnall View in CoL
Taeniothrips major Bagnall, 1916: 216 View in CoL .
Described from Garhwal in northern India, this species is widespread in China. Females with larvae were taken in August 2006 from Impatiens glandulifera View in CoL at Nathiagalli, in Northwest Pakistan. Taeniothrips glanduculus Han View in CoL from Tibet, Xizang, is possibly the same species as major View in CoL . Moreover, major View in CoL is very similar in structure to orionis View in CoL from Northwestern USA ( Mound et al. 2012).
