Eulomalus vermicipygus Cooman, 1937 View in CoL , new for China
(Figs. 167–180)
Cooman, 1937: 98 (Type locality: Vietnam: Tonkin, Hoa-Binh), 156 (key); Mazur, 1984: 138 (catalogue); 1997: 186 (catalogue).
Material examined. CHINA: Yunnan: 2 males, 1 female, Xishuangbanna, Mengla, Yao area, 940 m, dead wood, 2004. II.19, Jie Wu & Yongping Lu coll.; 1 male, 1 female, Xishuangbanna, west of Menglun, 560 m, dead wood, 2004. II.9, Jie Wu coll.
Remarks. We compared the original description and the line drawings of E. vermicipygus in Cooman (1937) with the specimens collected in Yunnan. The specimens match the description and the drawings except in the characters of the female pygidium (cf. Cooman, 1937: Fig. 3). In the specimens from Yunnan, the sculpture of the female pygidium is not as dense, but strongly and irregularly curved.
Distribution. China (Yunnan); Vietnam.
