3. Begonia maculifolia Y.M.Shui, Nuraliev & Aver. , sp. nov. ( Fig. 3 )

B. sect. Platycentrum ( Klotzsch 1855: 243) de Candolle (1859: 134).

Diagnosis:— Similar to B. duclouxii Gagnepain (1919: 198) , B. limprichtii Irmsch. in Limpricht (1922: 440) and B. setifolia Irmscher (1939: 549) , differing from them by the following combination of characters: leaf blade 8.2–11.5 cm long, hairy peduncle, bracts 3.5–5 mm long, purple tepals, staminate flowers with outer tepals ca. 6 mm long and ca. 3–4 mm wide, actinomorphic androecium, anthers with supraconnective.

TYPE:— VIETNAM. Quang Nam Province: Nam Giang District, Song Thanh Nature Reserve , forest, river bank, 15°34’12’’N 107°22’44’’E, elev. 1040 m, 02 May 2019, Nuraliev M. S. 2463a (holotype MW: MW0595748 ; photos LE: LE01093237 http://en.herbariumle.ru/?t=occ&id=81268) .
