REMARKS. This is one of two species that have spots of infuscation in the distal fore wings, radiating infuscation in the fore wing marginal area and infuscated marginal area of the hind wings. It can be distinguished from C. producta by the bronzing of the basal area of the fore wing, the spots of infuscation in the distal fore wing are within the apical cells rather than on the distal marginal veins and lack of infuscation on the fore wing cross veins in C. detoulgoueti .
DISTRIBUTION. The species has been reported previously only from Ecuador ( Sanborn 2013).
