Comments. Recorded on Pistacia spp. According to PÉRICART (1972: 137–139) ssp. pistaciae differs from the nominate form in smaller size, length 2.8–3.2 mm (nominate form 3.0– 3.6 mm), paler colouring and shinier appearance. No intermediates were found in the studied Iranian material. Pontomediterranean-Central Asian, extending to China. Also know from Morocco and Tunisia.
