Type material: Holotype: male ( IZCAS), Xiannv Cave [24º29.319'N, 108º34.205'E, ALT: 205m, T: 25°C, H: 90%], Yizhou, Guangxi, China, July 28, 2009, C. Wang & Z. Yao leg. Paratypes: 27 males, 100 females, same data as holotype.
Etymology: The specific name is derived from the Latin word “zona”, meaning “belt”, and refers to the belt-shaped spermatheca of female; adjective.
Diagnosis: This new species is similar to T. bifida Lin & Li, 2010 , but can be distinguished by the presence of six eyes ( Figs 33 View FIGURE 33 A, 34A), the different shape of embolus ( Figs 33 View FIGURE 33 C–D, 35A–B), and the beltshaped spermatheca of female ( Figs 34 View FIGURE 34 C–D, 36B–D).
Description: male (holotype). Total length 1.50 ( Fig. 33 View FIGURE 33 A). Prosoma 0.50 long, 0.50 wide. Opisthosoma 0.85 long, 0.65 wide. Sternum 0.40 long, 0.36 wide. Prosoma, sternum, yellow; legs, labium, endites and chelicerae pale yellow. Six eyes. Chelicerae longer than endites, with two teeth and three tiny granulous denticles on the promargin, four small triangular teeth on the retromargin of fang furrow ( Fig. 37 View FIGURE 37 C). Femur I– IV with two rows of short macrosetae ventrally. Patellae I–IV with one long macroseta on the distal part of dorsal surface. Tibia I–IV with one long macroseta dorsally (position 0.3). Leg measurements: I 4.72 (1.40, 0.20, 1.50, 1.00, 0.62); II 4.05 (1.25, 0.20, 1.25, 0.80, 0.55); III 2.64 (0.87, 0.15, 0.75, 0.50, 0.37); IV 3.42 (1.12, 0.20, 1.00, 0.65, 0.45). Leg formula: I-II-IV-III. Opisthosoma dark green, covered with long setae. Bulb yellowish, nearly circular. Embolus approximately 1/2 the length of bulb, angled larger than 90° to the axis of bulb ( Figs 33 View FIGURE 33 B–D, 35A–B).
Female (one of the paratypes). Similar to male in coloration and general features, but with a smaller body size and shorter legs. Total length 1.25 ( Figs 34 View FIGURE 34 A–B). Prosoma 0.55 long, 0.45 wide. Opisthosoma 0.65 long, 0.65 wide. Sternum 0.40 long, 0.35 wide. Leg measurements: I 3.75 (1.10, 0.15, 1.15, 0.75, 0.60); II 3.17 (1.00, 0.15, 0.90, 0.62, 0.50); III 2.31 (0.80, 0.12, 0.62, 0.40, 0.37); IV 2.92 (0.95, 0.15, 0.87, 0.55, 0.40). Leg formula: I-II-IV-III. Genital area with a row of setae on epigynal plate and a row of stouter setae posterior to epigastric furrow ( Fig. 36 View FIGURE 36 A). Spermatheca belt-shaped in dorsal view ( Figs 34 View FIGURE 34 C, 36B).
Variation: Total length: males 1.45–1.53 (n = 28), females (1.20–1.28) (n=100). Distribution: China (Guangxi) ( Fig. 38 View FIGURE 38 ), known only from the type locality.
