Belciana View in CoL sp. (Lombok I.).
( Figs 9 View FIGURES 9 – 16 , 46 View FIGURES 46 – 52 )
Material examined. INDONESIA, LOMBOK I.: 1 female, Nusa Tenggara Barat, Sanaru, Gunung Rinjani, 515 m, 08°18′ S, 116°24′ E, Buchsbaum U. leg., 28.xii.2003, slide, GB7362 female, coll. GB/ ZSM.
Diagnosis. Adult ( Fig. 9 View FIGURES 9 – 16 ). Wingspan 40 mm. This species is the next member of biformis species-group. Externally it is close to B. biformis , but by the structure of female genitalia is close B. sp. (Irian Jaya). It differs from allied species by narrower and longer blackish subbasal fields and fully expressed black medial line. In the female genitalia it differs from B. sp. (Irian Jaya) by narrower shape of antrum, more deeply split postvaginal plate, and longer, but less conical shape of ventral lobes of antrum and by sclerotisation and shape of corpus bursae. Female genitalia ( Fig. 46 View FIGURES 46 – 52 ). Ovipositor quadrangular; apophyses anteriores and posteriores moderate long, posteriores ones about half length of anteriores apophyses, rather strong; antrum narrower than in B. biformis , and B. sp. (Irian Jaya), about two times longer than in the last, strongly split; lateral sides of the antevaginal plate form two sclerotised protuberance; ductus bursae longer and narrower than in B. biformis and B. sp. (Irian Jaya); the area in joining of ductus with corpus bursae smaller, sclerotised and less ribbed; corpus bursae more elongate, rounded in its caudal part, with prominent lateral extension in caudal part. Male unknown.
Distribution and bionomics. Indonesia, Lombok I. The species was collected in primary forest in December.
Note. Althouth the species substantively differs by female genitalia from its allies, we cannot describe it before collecting more material sufficient for description.
