Pseudolathra keiseri ( Scheerpeltz, 1961) View in CoL
Figs 1–4 View FIGURES 1–16 , 20 View FIGURES 17–20 .
Lathrobium (Madecalobrathium) keiseri Scheerpeltz, 1961: 251 (type locality: Madagascar, Soanierana-Ivongo). Pseudolathra keiseri: Janák, 2014: 475 View in CoL .
Pseudolathra (Madecalobrathium) keiseri: Lecoq, 2017: 207 View in CoL .
Material studied. 6 specimens (4♂♂, 2♀♀): Réunion, St. Paul – Grand Étang , 29.12.1991 – 1.1.1992, J. Janák lgt. (cJan) .
Remarks. Originally described from Madagascar, this is the only macropterous Pseudolathra known from Réunion so far. Male sternite VII ( Fig. 4 View FIGURES 1–16 ) is normally pubescent, lacking modified setae, similar to P. hamoni but with sparser pubescence particularly in the middle of posterior margin. The excision of the posterior margin of male sternite VIII ( Fig. 20 View FIGURES 17–20 ) is relatively deeper than in P. hamoni . The aedeagus ( Figs 1–3 View FIGURES 1–16 ) is characterised by two long processes attached to an asymmetrical apical portion of the ventral process of the aedeagus, a unique feature among Madagascan Pseudolathra . Habitus photos of this species were published by Janák (2014).
Distribution. Madagascar, Réunion.
