C o m m e n t: The distribution of this rare myrmecophile is confined to Spain and Morocco; for an additional recent record from southern Spain see ASSING (2008). The above specimens were exclusively found associated with a relatively large blackish Aphaenogaster sp. ( Formicidae : Myrmicinae).
