In the API 20NE test, cells are positive for esculin hydrolysis, arginine dihydrolase, urease, β -galactosidase, and assimilation of D- glucose, D- mannitol, capric acid, adipic acid and trisodium citrate; but negative for nitrate reduction, indole production, glucose fermentation, gelatinase, and assimilation of L- arabinose, D- mannose, N -acetyl-glucosamine, D- maltose, potassium gluconate, malate and phenylacetic acid. Strain 15MA-21 (= NI- BRBAC000508955 ) was isolated from a seaweed sample collected from Goseong , Republic of Korea (38°30 ʹ 13.1 ʺ N 128°25 ʹ 37.6 ʺ E) GoogleMaps .
