Type locality. China, Thibet (now western Sichuan Province), Mou-Pin (now Baoxing County) and Ya Tcheou (now Ya'an City ), Se-Pin-Lou-Chan .

CHINA: 2♂♂ ( CZHQ), Sichuan Province, Ya'an City, Yingjing County [Ếē县], Longcanggou National Forest Park [AEĖŝ国ẍũüȓ园], alt. 1750 m, 18.VII.2024, Rong-Chuan Tao leg. ; 5♂♂ ( CZHQ), Sichuan Province, Ya'an City, Yingjing County [Ếē县], Longcanggou National Forest Park [AEĖŝ 国ẍũüȓ园], Diecuixi [叠Ņã], alt. 1430 m, VII.2023, Rong-Chuan Tao leg. ; 1♂ ( CRXS), Sichuan Province, Emeishan City, Emeishan [NJDZƜ], Xixiangchi [KÞà], alt. 2000 m, 10.VII.2024, Tian-Xuan Gu leg. ; 2♂♂ ( CZHQ), Sichuan Province, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Meigu County [ḽ姑县], Dafengding National Nature Reserve [大Ṃū国ẍāåỀ保ṗ区], alt. 2200 m, 24.VI.2024 , local collector leg.

Distribution. China (Sichuan). Remarks. Fujita (2010) states in his book The Lucanid Beetles of the World that this species distributes in Hubei, Shaanxi, Sichuan, Yunnan, and Xizang. However, there are no reliable specimen records for verification in provinces other than Sichuan. Therefore, in this study, we only list Sichuan Province as the distribution.
