Paratype: 1 ♂. MEXICO: Chiapas, Palenque, 30.10.1978, E. Heiss; ♂; [on red] Cartagonum mayense n. sp., Nascimento & Bocakova, 2009, PARATYPE.

Conservation status: Good condition; specimen glued on card by abdomen. Genitalia dissected into microvial with glycerin.
