Distribution: Japan, Korea, Russia (Kuril Is., Sakhalin), Sri Lanka [?], Taiwan. [2a]

Hosts: Toxicodendron trichocarpum (Anacardiaceae) , Celastrus articulata (Celastraceae) , Quercus acutissima (Fagaceae) , Phellodendron sachalinensis (Rutaceae) ,

Remarks: Wood & Bright (1992) include India (Uttar Pradesh) and Nepal in the distribution, but we have found no published records. The record from Sri Lanka is based on Wood’s (1989) synonymy of Ptilopodius nitidus Schedl with E. imitans . In assigning the species to faunal element 2a, we have ignored this record.
