Diagnosis. Coenosia nigridigita is the closest relative of C. testacea which is separated from by having 3–4 elongate posteroventral setae in basal half of mid femur (at most 2 posteroventral setae in C. testacea ).
Distribution. New to Iran, C. nigridigita is known from Europe, including Turkey, Ukraine and Armenia ( Pont 2018, Gregor et al. 2016).
