Holotype. Male. AUSTRALIA: Mt Lewis Road , via Julatten ( ANIC).
Diagnosis. One of the six Australian species with striped elytra; small (<6 mm long); similar to A. brevis and A. ellioti , distinguished by its size, convex frons-vertex junction, 2 interstitial lines and the apparently bipartite LO in V7; probable female brachelytral, hind wings absent, elytra do not approach in mid-line. Larva not associated.
