Shape: Moderately broad, bluntly ovoid, anterior pole wider than posterior, polar profile circular, dorsoventrally flattened (Figs 111, 112, 114 & 115).
Characteristics: Egg marked all over by flat hexagonal cells, narrow, unelevated cell walls (Figs 114 & 115), cells on anterior pole overlaid by a narrow reticulum (Figs 112 & 113), cell outlines only faintly discernible on middle of top of egg (Figs 114 & 115). Aeropyles elevated, circular, openings moderately small, present on all surfaces except the middle area of the top wide lateral side (Fig. 115). Micropylar area conspicuous, rosette cells slightly recessed (Figs 112 & 113). Chorion rough, ridged and folded (Figs 115–117).
