Shape: Moderately broad, bluntly ovoid, anterior pole wider than posterior, polar profile sub­circular, dorso­ventrally flattened (Figs 118, 119, 121 &122).

Characteristics: Egg marked all over by hexagonal cells with flat floors, narrow,

slightly elevated cell walls (Figs 119, 121–123, 125 & 126). Aeropyles elevated, domed, openings large, densely distributed on all surfaces (Figs 119, 122–125) except the middle area of the wide lateral side (Figs 121 & 126). Chorion ridged and folded (Figs 123–125), smoother in the middle of the wide side of the egg (Figs 126 & 127).
