Shape: Very narrow, elongated, bluntly ovoid, anterior pole truncated; flattened dorsoventrally; elongated (Figs 536 & 539).
Characteristics: Chorion moderately soft. Egg distinctly marked on all surfaces by concave, elongate, hexagonal cells with moderately broad, elevated walls arranged in longitudinal rows (Figs 536, 539 & 540), cells in micropylar area with narrower walls (Figs 537 & 538). Aeropyles elevated, domed, openings very small, present on all surfaces (Fig. 540). Rosette cells in micropylar area recessed (Figs 537 & 538). Chorion densely blistered, granular in appearance (Figs 540 & 541).
