Shape: Very narrow, elongated, bluntly ovoid, anterior pole truncated; flattened dorsoventrally; elongated (Figs 507, 510 & 511).

Characteristics: Chorion soft. Egg distinctly marked on all surfaces by concave, elongate, hexagonal cells with moderately broad, rounded walls, arranged in longitudinal rows (Figs 507, 510–513). Aeropyles elevated, domed, present on all surfaces, openings moderately large (Fig. 512), many aeropyles arranged along cell junctions on anterior pole (Fig. 513). Rosette cells recessed (Fig. 509). Chorion smooth, covered with mesh­like reticulation (Figs 507–513).
