Stibaroma Guest View in CoL (Figs 384–391)
This genus is widespread in eucalypt forests in southern Australia. The eggs of the type species, S. melanotoxa , are described. The eggs of this species resemble those of Mnesampela (especially heliochrysa ). Both have flat cells with moderately broad rounded walls that form a conspicuous, meshlike reticulum over the egg. Aeropylar openings are small in both and the chorion is generally smooth. Egg shape in both species is moderately broad and bluntly ovoid. The broad rounded cell walls and prominent reticulum also resemble that found in the eggs of the Nearctic larentiine Eulithis diversilineata Hübner and E. propulsata Walker (Hydriomenini) ( Salkeld 1983).
