Remarks

Gondogeneia macrodon ( Schellenberg, 1931) View in CoL similarly to G. gracilicauda ( Schellenberg, 1931) View in CoL , is restricted to the south of South America. There is not much information about the taxonomy and ecology of this species, so that its discovery in M. pyrifera holdfasts is apparently mentioned here for the first time.
