Type: CHINA. Yunnan: Mekong-Yangtze divide, 11000 ft. (About 3350 m), open stony pasture, August 1914, G.Forrest 13011 (lectotype: E00000264!, designated by Pimenov 2017: 132; isolectotype: PE00033252 !) .
Notes: — Chamaesium wolffianum usually possess obsolete bracteoles and bracts, linear segments of leaves, greenish petals, and fruits with slight undulate ribs. The shape of linear segments of leaves is obvious character to distinguish it from other Chamaesium species.
Distribution in China: — Yunnan. Endemic. ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 )
Habitat: — Chamaesium wolffianum lives in the forests and shrubs. It usually occupied humid areas at an elevation of ca. 3700 m.
