Descriptions:— Herbs, perennial, glabrous. Stem solitary or branched, shorted or more than 40 cm long, ribbed. Leaf blade oblong, 1- pinnate, sessile, ovate to orbicular, entire or 2–6 pairs. Ultimate segments linear, ovate, ovate-lanceolate, broadly-ovate, ovate-oblong. Umbels compound, terminal and lateral, rays very unequal to equal. Bracts absent or few, linear or pinnate even leaf-like; bracteoles absent or few, linear or pinnate. Pedicels many, short. Calyx teeth minute, ovate, triangular or obscure. Petals white, yellowish or greenish, obovate or suborbicular, base narrow, apex nearly plane, usually not inflexed. Stylopodium depressed, margins conspicuously extented into a broad undulate flange or regular or conic. Fruit narrow-ovate, ellipsoid-oblong or round, base slightly cordate, smooth; ribs 9, 5 primary and 4 secondary ribs all prominent or obscure when mature, even ribs sometimes extented into wings, vittae 1 in each furrow, 2 on commissure or numerous, large or small; endosperm face concave or plane, exocarp face on commissure concave or plane.
