Stegana (Steganina) radiciflava Zhang & Chen View in CoL , sp. nov.
( Figs. 12I, 12J View FIGURE 12 , 57 View FIGURE 57 )
Diagnosis. This species closely resembles S. (S.) kanmiyai Okada & Sidorenko, 1992 in the shape of male terminalia (as fig. 3E–G in Okada & Sidorenko 1992, Fig. 57 View FIGURE 57 ), but can be distinguished from the latter by having the surstylus with 1 peg-like tooth near distal margin, lacking seta ( Fig. 57A View FIGURE 57 ); the hypandrium only slightly expanded anteromedially ( Fig. 57B, C View FIGURE 57 ); the pregonite small, with 2 sensilla ( Fig. 57B, C View FIGURE 57 ); the aedeagus rounded distally ( Fig. 57B, C View FIGURE 57 ).
Description. Male: First flagellomere yellow on basal 2/3, brown on distal 1/3. Clypeus brownish medially, yellow laterally. Mesonotum dark brown medially, yellow laterally ( Fig. 12I View FIGURE 12 ). Katepisternum yellowish ( Fig. 12J View FIGURE 12 ). Scutellum dark brown, yellow at tip ( Fig. 12I View FIGURE 12 ). Halter mostly white ( Fig. 12J View FIGURE 12 ). Fore femur with a row of 5 long setae on distal part of posteroventral surface. Abdominal tergites dark brown to black ( Fig. 12I, J View FIGURE 12 ); sternites black, about 2 times as wide as long. Male terminalia ( Fig. 57 View FIGURE 57 ): Epandrium with ca. 17 setae on dorsal to posterior portions per side ( Fig. 57A View FIGURE 57 ). Surstylus with numerous minute, serrated processes, lacking pubescence ( Fig. 57A View FIGURE 57 ). Cercus with much pubescence ( Fig. 57A View FIGURE 57 ). Pregonite small, with 2 sensilla ( Fig. 57B, C View FIGURE 57 ). Aedeagus distally rounded and with numerous symmetric, serrated processes distally ( Fig. 57B, C View FIGURE 57 ). Subepandrial sclerite deeply split medially ( Fig. 57D View FIGURE 57 ).
