Stegana (Steganina) menglian Li & Chen , sp. nov.

( Figs. 11G, 11H, 51)

Diagnosis. This species is similar to S. (S.) lancang sp. nov. in the shape of male terminalia ( Figs. 46A–G, 51), but can be distinguished from the latter by having the surstylus lacking serrated process ( Fig. 51A, B); the aedeagus lacking a row of serrated processes distoventrally ( Fig. 51C, D).

Description. Male and female: First flagellomere yellowish brown. Clypeus yellow. Mesonotum dark brown medially, brown laterally ( Fig. 11G). Katepisternum mostly yellowish, brownish on anterior corner ( Fig. 11H). Scutellum dark brown, yellow at tip ( Fig. 11G). Halter mostly white ( Fig. 11H). Fore femur with a row of 3 long setae on distal part of posteroventral surface. Abdominal tergites black ( Fig. 11G, H); sternites brown, about 2 times as wide as long. Male terminalia ( Fig. 51): Epandrium with ca. 14 setae on dorsal to posterior portions per side ( Fig. 51A). Surstylus with 1 peg-like tooth and some setulae near distal margin, lacking pubescence ( Fig. 51A, B). Cercus with much pubescence ( Fig. 51A). Hypandrium roundly expanded anteromedially ( Fig. 51C, D). Pregonite with 2 sensilla ( Fig. 51C, D). Aedeagus roundly expanded distally, with several minute, serrated processes distolaterally and some pubescence distoventrally ( Fig. 51C, D). Aedeagal sheath distally strongly dorsad curved and with several minute, serrated processes ( Fig. 51E, F). Subepandrial sclerite nearly vaulted ( Fig. 51G).
