Stegana (Steganina) menglian Li & Chen View in CoL , sp. nov.
( Figs. 11G, 11H View FIGURE 11 , 51 View FIGURE 51 )
Diagnosis. This species is similar to S. (S.) lancang sp. nov. in the shape of male terminalia ( Figs. 46A–G View FIGURE 46 , 51 View FIGURE 51 ), but can be distinguished from the latter by having the surstylus lacking serrated process ( Fig. 51A, B View FIGURE 51 ); the aedeagus lacking a row of serrated processes distoventrally ( Fig. 51C, D View FIGURE 51 ).
Description. Male and female: First flagellomere yellowish brown. Clypeus yellow. Mesonotum dark brown medially, brown laterally ( Fig. 11G View FIGURE 11 ). Katepisternum mostly yellowish, brownish on anterior corner ( Fig. 11H View FIGURE 11 ). Scutellum dark brown, yellow at tip ( Fig. 11G View FIGURE 11 ). Halter mostly white ( Fig. 11H View FIGURE 11 ). Fore femur with a row of 3 long setae on distal part of posteroventral surface. Abdominal tergites black ( Fig. 11G, H View FIGURE 11 ); sternites brown, about 2 times as wide as long. Male terminalia ( Fig. 51 View FIGURE 51 ): Epandrium with ca. 14 setae on dorsal to posterior portions per side ( Fig. 51A View FIGURE 51 ). Surstylus with 1 peg-like tooth and some setulae near distal margin, lacking pubescence ( Fig. 51A, B View FIGURE 51 ). Cercus with much pubescence ( Fig. 51A View FIGURE 51 ). Hypandrium roundly expanded anteromedially ( Fig. 51C, D View FIGURE 51 ). Pregonite with 2 sensilla ( Fig. 51C, D View FIGURE 51 ). Aedeagus roundly expanded distally, with several minute, serrated processes distolaterally and some pubescence distoventrally ( Fig. 51C, D View FIGURE 51 ). Aedeagal sheath distally strongly dorsad curved and with several minute, serrated processes ( Fig. 51E, F View FIGURE 51 ). Subepandrial sclerite nearly vaulted ( Fig. 51G View FIGURE 51 ).
